In accordance with our “motif noir“, we raise a small flock of black Romney-Suffolk sheep. We strive to use every part of the animal, and offer custom-cut locker meat, fiber and hides. Our sheep are entirely grass fed and pasture raised and receive no growth hormones or other drugs or chemicals above what is absolutely essential to keep them healthy and happy. Although selected for their size and multiple births, their fiber is very suitable for spinning, weaving, felting and processing into fiber art projects. Colors vary from deep dark brown to espresso, gray, beige, taupe, and occasionally cream. Tanned hides can be used for car seat covers that are warm in the winter and cool in the summer, snugly easy chair covers, cozy foot rugs, and healing massage table under-covers. They combine aesthetic beauty with functional multiple uses.
Please contact us if you are interested in any of our sheep-related products.
